The Whip is Dash One's secret vehicle that he had hidden just outside the boundaries of Takayna.
Whilst wandering around outside the boundaries in his teenage years, he discovered an old shed hidden in amongst dense bushes and trees. He broke in and found a workshop which hadn't been touched for many years and a car partly constructed. During his time in high school, he studied motor vehicles in his free periods and in his personal time and used that knowledge to finish the vehicle.
He mainly used it as a way to escape the confines of the outpost and gain some personal freedoms that he would otherwise not have.
